How to grow your YouTube game channel faster

Did you know that there are more than 1 billion gamers globally? The Youtube gaming industry is in full swing, with new gamers entering the market every day. In fact, YouTube gaming channels are all the rage right now. If you love to play video games and record your screen while doing so, why not profit from your hobby by creating a YouTube gaming channel? After all, many people enjoy watching others play video games.

But how can you grow your gaming channel faster?

Many smaller YouTubers focus on gaming and grow their audience and stats month after month. How do they do it, and what can you take from them to make your own channel a success? I’ll look at some simple ways to help you grow your gaming channel faster!

So how can you grow your YouTube channel faster? You can grow your channel faster by:

  • Creating more content faster
  • Collaborating with other YouTubers
  • Promoting your channel on other channels
  • Using paid ads to grow your channel faster
  • Repurposing your video content on other social channels

Okay, now I’ve touched on all the methods you can use to grow your channel. Let’s take a closer look at each method.

First, I’ll explain why you should constantly strive to create more content and create it faster.

Create more content faster.

This first section will go over why it’s crucial to create more content faster to grow your Youtube channel quickly.

One of the best ways to grow your gaming channel faster is to create more content faster. When you’re first starting out, you must create content regularly. So if you’re able to create a brand new video every week, that’s great!

As a smaller channel, you want to reach as many viewers as possible. The best way to do that’s to create a lot of content. The more content you’ve on your channel, the more likely you will be discovered. And once you’ve been found, it’s up to you to keep growing your gaming channel.

But once you’ve your video production process set in stone, you should start increasing your video volume.

One video per week is a good start. But 3 a week is even better. But more is even better. There’s a reason the biggest YouTube brands produce multiple videos per day on various channels. They know that a sure way to grow a business, whether on Youtube or elsewhere, is to hustle, hustle, hustle. You need to produce a lot of content. The more you can make, the better your chances of being discovered.

Just make sure you don’t cut back on quality too much. But remember that your target audience will decide what’s quality and what’s not. So stick to creating as much as you can.

In this section, you learned that if you want to grow a YouTube channel faster, you should create as much content per week as you can. This shouldn’t be too hard, especially if you like to play games, because you’ll probably have several hours a week of game content that you can use.

In the next section, I’ll go over the benefits of collaborating with other YouTubers.

Collaborate with other YouTubers

In the previous section, I talked about growing your YouTube channel faster by producing more content on your channel. But that’s not the only way to grow fast.

You can also collaborate with other Youtubers to introduce your brand and ideas to a new audience.

Yes, collaborations can be tricky, but finding the right partner can help you grow your gaming channel faster than ever before.

Collaborating with other YouTubers on your gaming channel can help you build a more engaged audience. When you collaborate with other YouTubers, you have the opportunity to reach their audience and vice versa. You’re leveraging the other Youtuber’s existing audience and borrowing from it. Even if you manage to attract just 10% of another Youtuber’s audience to your channel, you’ve dramatically increased your channel’s overall viewership.

Collaborating with other YouTubers is a great way to grow your gaming channel faster. If you’re having trouble finding someone to collaborate with, try smaller gaming YouTubers who have a similar-sized channel to yours. Or try reaching out to channels that are slightly larger than yours. You can find these people by doing a quick search on YouTube. If you want to work with a larger channel, you can try contacting them through social media or email.

Don’t ask too much of these Youtubers, though. Ask yourself what you can do for them and how you can enhance their channel. Always think about how you can help, how you can give value first before you get value back.

That way, other YouTubers will be happy to work with you.

Okay, so in this section, you learned that you should try to leverage other Yotubers’ audiences through collaboration. And that you should try to put other Youtuber’s needs before your own. Always think about how I can add value and how you can help a potential collaborator’s Youtube channel grow before you ask for value in return.

In the next section, I’ll talk about how to promote your channel on other social channels.

Promote your channel on other social channels

The last section discussed how collaborating with other Youtubers can dramatically grow your channel and its audience.

Another way to accelerate the growth of a Youtube channel is to use social media channels.

Are you a member of a gaming group on Facebook or another social media group? If so, now is the time to make those groups work for you.

As a small YouTuber, you want to get your name out there as much as possible. That means promoting your gaming channel on all the social media channels you’re a member of. Another good way to promote your gaming channel on other channels is to create videos relevant to the group you’re a member of.

For example, if you’re a Call of Duty group member, you can create a video talking about your latest Call of Duty games. This way, you can stand out from the rest of the group, which will make it easier for you to get your channel promoted by the moderators.

Also, try contributing to existing conversations on social media. If someone is stuck playing the game you love, join the conversation and give them tips on how to get out of trouble. If a Youtube video is helpful, create a Youtube video that helps solve the problem and post it in the conversation.

You’ll be shocked how quickly you can get views for your videos on social channels with help like this.

In this section, I’ve gone into how social channels like Facebook groups can help you get views for your Youtube videos.

The next section will cover how paid ads can help grow your Youtube channel.

Use paid ads to grow your channel faster.

In the last section, we talked about growing a Youtube channel faster by using social channels like Facebook groups.

In this section, I’ll go into how you can use paid ads to grow your channel faster.

Yes, you can use paid ads to grow your channel faster. You probably know that paid ads are a great way to increase the growth of any business, including your channel.

There are paid ad networks like Google ads, Facebook ads, and even YouTube ads that you can use to grow a gaming YouTube channel.

You can use these ad networks to run campaigns to help you grow your gaming channel faster.

For example, you could run a Google Ads campaign so that when you type “best Youtube gaming channels” in Google search, an ad for your channel appears.

This may sound expensive, but running internet ads is pretty cheap. The reason is that you don’t pay until someone clicks on it. So if 1000 people see your ad, but only 10 people click on it, you only pay for the 10 clicks, costing you maybe $4 in total. That might sound like a lot, but it’s a great way to promote your gaming YouTube channel early on.

You can also run video ads on Youtube. You should be able to do this by promoting your own videos. To do this, click on the “Sponsored” tab when you create a new Youtube video. You can then create an ad for your videos to help you grow your channel faster.

In this section, I’ve looked at growing your channel through paid ads. You can buy ads on various ad networks such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and YouTube Ads. They’ll all potentially attract new viewers to your channel.

In the next section, I’ll look at repurposing video content on other social channels.

Reusing your video content on other social channels

I talked about using paid ads to attract additional visitors in the last section.

This section talks about reusing your YouTube gaming content and reusing it on multiple channels.

Not only can you promote your gaming channel on other social media channels, but you can also repurpose your video content on other social channels. To do this, take one or two of your gaming videos, edit them to a shorter length, and share them on other social media channels like TikTok.

You can take advantage of other social channels by sharing your videos on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. These videos can help you get more views for your main YouTube gaming channel.

They can also help you build a larger audience on other social media channels, which could be an additional revenue source.

Republishing content is an incredibly effective way to get your content in front of thousands of people.

For example, a single video could be converted into all of the following long-form and micro-content:

  • 1 Medium post
  • 1 Tumblr post1 Linked-in post
  • 1 article on your own website
  • 1 podcast
  • 5 Youtube shorts
  • 5 Tiktok and Snapchat short videos.
  • 5 Instagram videos10 text-only tweets 5 tweets with video
  • 10 Instagram posts
  • 10 Instagram stories
  • 10 Facebook posts.

That’s 66 additional pieces of content on 12 different social channels. 66 more chances for people to discover the great video you created.

Not only that but each piece of content can be reused on multiple channels. The same content can be used on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and any other social media or blogging platform to reach even more people. You can even create blog posts from some of these social media posts to reach an even wider audience. With 66 pieces of content, you can imagine how many different people you can reach.

So in this section, you’ve learned that repurposing your videos can be a superpower. If you create lots of small content and post it on other channels, you’ll have more chances for your content to be found by others.

In the next section, I’ll end the article with a conclusion. I’ll see you there.
