How does it all work?
Firstly, let’s look at how the game works. Valorant is a 5v5 competitive FPS. Players may choose an Agent to play on a team of five. Each character has unique abilities that you can combine with your teammates’ abilities to create an unstoppable force. As an attacker, your job is to help plant a bomb-like device known as a “Spike” on one of the many bomb sites shown on the map. It is your responsibility, along with your team, to defend the Spike for 45 seconds so that the bomb can be successfully detonated. Doing so will signify a win for that round.
To ensure success, it is important that you and your team coordinate your efforts to keep the Spike safe from any potential attackers who may try to prevent it from detonating.
By working together and communicating properly, you can make sure that the Spike detonates within the allotted time frame and secures a win for your team.
Defender
As a Defender in Valorant, you are in charge of defusing Spikes planted or preventing them from being planted in the first place; you have 100 seconds each round to accomplish this.
An alternative route to success is to destroy the opposing team. However, each Agent has only one life per round; therefore, taking them all out will also grant a win for that round.
Between each round, there is a short time allotted for players to use in-game currency (Creds) to buy items that will aid in defeating their enemies. You can acquire many items to benefit the cause.
Armor – There are many different types of armor available in Valorant, each providing a unique level of protection against enemy assaults.
From light armor which offers a slight boost in health to heavy armor which offers significant protection, players can choose the right kind of armor to suit their playstyle.

The game offers four permanent PvP game modes:

Agents of Valorant
As of now, there are 19 Agents for players to choose from. As we know, each has its own set of abilities, utterly unique to them. In addition to this, they are also categorized into four roles.
- Controller
- Duellist
- Initiator
- Sentinel
When you first begin the game, you will have access to only five of the 19 available Agents. You must later unlock the rest on your travels; luckily, two are easily accessible using the Play To Unlock Free Agent Contract.

In Valorant, there are two distinct categories of weapons to choose from: Primary and Sidearm.

Maps – What, Where, and When
Valorant has seven maps in rotation under Unrated and Competitive. We have listed them below:

An additional map titled Split was removed to make way for the new Pearl map.
Battle Pass
As in many games, Valorant provides a battle pass option for players. This is an affordable method for receiving cosmetics without stepping out of the game and using outside sources. The game is broken down into two-month periods of time; these are referred to as Acts. Each Act provides the availability of a new battle pass that can be progressed with XP.
XP can be gained through matches and completing daily and weekly missions.

- Unrated, Competitive, and Replication – 100 XP per round and 200 XP per round won.
- Spike Rush – 1,000 XP
- Deathmatch – 900 XP
- Escalation – 800 XP for completion and 200 if you win.
- Snowball Fight – 750 XP for completion plus an additional 150 if you win.
A Battle Pass requires 980000 XP and is divided into 50 tiers. There are additionally five epilogue tiers, requiring 36500 XP and containing minor bonus cosmetics. The pass consists of many cosmetics, including skins, Radianite, player titles, sprays players, cards, and gun buddies.
At tier 50, players will receive a knife skin, a special reward for reaching that tier, which is standard for every Act.
